HIGHLANDS NATURAL POOL

The historic and scenic Highlands Natural Pool is located adjacent to The New Weis Center and Norvin Green State Forest, in the Highlands Region of northern New Jersey. The Olympic-sized, mountain stream-fed pool features a secluded wooded setting, separate deep and shallow ends, a snack bar, play area, tables with umbrellas, and a lovely perennial garden. The pool was carved out of a rocky hillside in 1935-36 by the New York chapter of The Nature Friends, and remains completely chemical-free!
